This is not a substitute for reading the final details and Day 1 information which are available online.
The Day 1 organising team would like to make you aware of the following:
- Owing to the narrow access road competitors will not be allowed to arrive after 1230 or leave before 1300.
- Courses will close today at 1630 not at 1600 as written on the maps and stated in the final details
- We have experienced high uptake for some courses on all a days (2, 7, 8 & 10).
Where a course has had to be split due to high demand, E stands for elite classes, M stands for the Men’s classes and W stands for the Women’s classes that would have run that single course. They have separate maps and different controls.
Please make sure you pick up the map that matches your bib! - Dogs are only allowed in the parking field and must be on a short lead. They may not be taken on the walks to the start.
- The farmer will have a food stall at the event today. Please bring cash as he cannot accept card payments.
- Club tents may be left pitched in the arena overnight but no overnight camping is permitted.
- Entries for the Mountain Bike Orienteering outside Banchory close on Monday. Read more.
- Wondering what else to do in Deeside? Check out the tourist information from our friends at VisitScotland.
