Event Buses
A shuttle bus service will run from near the event campsite in Ballater to the race venues and back on each day of the 6-Days. This is included as part of the entry fees but must be pre-booked through the online entries system for the event.
Dogs are allowed on the buses, here is the advice from the bus company "Dog’s - only well behaved and they must stay on the floor and as near the front as possible to minimise mess".
Bus to Event will depart from Primary School in Ballater. 2nd pick up in village will be shortly after. Times are indicative, please be at stop 10 mins before. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure they allow enough time to make their start time. Note on Days 5 & 6 there is a 2 km walk from Bus Drop-off to Arena.
Wearing of seatbelts is mandatory.

Estimated travel times for the bus from Ballater to the bus drop off point at the event are:
| Day 1: | 25-30 minutes. |
| Day 2 & 3: | 50-55 minutes. There is a longer route for buses to the event on these days. The travel time will be shorter from the bus pick up point at the event back to Ballater. |
| Day 4: | 30-35 minutes. |
| Day 5 & 6: | 15-20 minutes. |
Buses will be supervised, especially on Day 1, and anyone who has booked but not yet picked up their pass will be allowed to use the bus service.
