Event Centre and Registration
The Event Centre is at the Victoria Hall, Station Square, Ballater, AB35 5QB.
Registration will be from 12:00 to 18:00 on Saturday 29th July. Bibs, hired SI cards, bus passes, programmes, coasters and pre-ordered merchandise and training maps may be collected. It will be possible to purchase tickets for social activities. General information will be available at the Event Centre on registration day and thereafter at each event arena. Traders and food outlets will be present.
There are toilets and a tourist information office on site. Parking will be on the wide streets within 500m of the halls, the streets will be signposted for parking and will be marshalled. There is no parking adjacent to the hall.
At registration, the collection of bibs, hired SI cards, bus passes, and programmes will be organised by your Entry Number obtained from this List. An A4 envelope will contain all the items for all the competitors within your entry number, whether this is a single person, a family group, or a larger club, tour or other group. The name on the envelope will be the person who submitted your entries to the event, as listed with the Entry Number on this list. So please have your Entry Number to hand when collecting your envelope at registration.
Please bring your own safety pins for the bibs - we will have a box of pins if you forget, but haven't got 12,000!
Those competitors unable collect their bibs, hired SI cards, bus passes, and programmes from the Event Centre on the Saturday can do so from the Information Tent at the race arena from 09:00 to 16:00 on Day 1 and from 09:30 to 16:00 on Days 2-6.
Those who have booked the event buses will be allowed to use the bus service to travel to the event on Day 1, even if they have not picked up their bus passes at registration on the Saturday.
Sheridans is serving evening meals from 18:00 to 21:00 from Saturday 29th July to Thursday 3rd August. There is a bar in the hall complex - Albert Hall for Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday; Victoria Hall for Tuesday, Thurs & Friday.
