Bib and Programme Collection
We're sure that you're looking forward to a very exciting week of orienteering at Highland 2015. We've had a record entry for the 6 Days and together with the World Championships we expect to have over 6000 competitors, volunteers, spectators and officials involved in the event so it looks like surpassing all expectations.
As you'll appreciate this is stretching our team of hard working volunteers and with over 5,000 competitors, there may be long queues to collect bibs on Day 1 at Achagour. While it will be possible to collect them then we cannot guarantee that you will make your start times, and owing to the pressure of numbers there may be very long waits to get a Punching Start.
So please, if you can, collect your bib, coaster, programme, car parking pass, programme and any other pre-ordered items from the Event Centre on Saturday 1st August. It would also help the entries team if you could have your Entry Number ready.

Campsite Update
There are still spaces on the campsite for tents and campervans but unfortunately no more spaces are available for car parking in the actual campsite. Cars will now have to be parked outside the campsite in the streets nearby.
Highland 2015 Bus Timetable
Important note for all Main Competition days
Bus passengers have been allocated one of two groups, called “BUS1” and “BUS2”. Because space is limited, it is essential that you travel at the correct bus time for your group. Your bus ticket will show which group you are in. On some days, BUS2 is earlier than BUS1.
Buses will run from the Campsite (Bught Park) and the Event Centre (Eden Court). The stop for Eden Court is on the south side of the theatre, on Bishop’s Road.
Bus passengers should collect a copy of the daily newsletter from a box at the door of the Competitor Shelter in the arena. There is one copy per family or group.
We are afraid that there are now no more bus passes available to purchase for travel to and from the events. The full capacity of buses has now been reached with those competitors who pre-booked through the on-line booking system.
Start Times
All start times are now available on SiEntries. Any requests for changes to entries including courses and start times can be made at the Event Centre (Eden Court) on Saturday 1st August 2015 12:00 to 18:00, or at the events. No changes will be made prior to then.
Keeping You Fit
Our regular Scottish 6 Days massage therapist Wendy Hope is away on her travels so instead we have recruited a team from the Inverness Therapy Clinic.
They will be at 2 (hopefully all 3) days at Darnaway (4th, 5th & possibly the 6th) supporting both the WOC athletes and any 6 days competitors that need some support.
More details about when and where to find them on the Meet the Traders page.
Running with Champions
We’re excited to announce that we have 1000 sets of Running with Champions certificates and stickers for age 16’s and under on badge or colour coded courses this year. There’s also space for autographs to record meeting the world’s elite. Parents should pick up the packs when collecting the family bibs and although we’ve ordered plenty it’s on a first come basis so don’t miss out.
Meet the Traders
The 2015 Scottish 6 days – HIGHLAND 2015 - is pleased to have Event Scotland as a sponsor and we are equally pleased to promote The Year of Food and Drink Scotland 2015 which celebrates the country’s outstanding natural larder and produce. Event Scotland invite you to “Enjoy brilliant moments packed with regional delights and discover the landscapes, people and culture that make our food heritage so unique. Come and experience it and taste the very best Scotland has to offer.”
Training update
The Lochandinty training area is not available as it has not been possible to complete this map due to other commitments. Anyone who has ordered this map will be refunded.
Keep it Clean
Over the course of the week competitors and spectators will become aware of an on-going, long-term initiative from Forestry Commission Scotland to promote good biosecurity practice across the national forest estate – and across the country.
Daily News Sheet
There will be a news sheet published daily during the Scottish 6 Days event, issued on paper and on the website.
