Details of the Sponsors and Partners that are key to helping us stage the event.

SILVA is a Swedish brand that has developed & sold outdoor accessories since 1933. Compasses & headlamps are in the heart of their business.  Three entrepreneurial brothers. One great invention. In 1933, Björn, Alvar and Arvid Kjellström invented the first ever liquid-filled compass, and their story began. Not only was it the first compass of its kind, but is also set the global standard for how navigation works. The SILVA brand was born.

Silva has a variety of compasses for hiking, orienteering and marine use that has been refined over the past 85 years. Durable compasses ensure accurate navigation whether you are on land or at sea, day and night. Find out more at:

Perth & Kinross Council

Perth and Kinross Council covers an extensive area extending up into the Highlands via the River Tay.   Perth is the main city. The Fergusson Gallery, in a former circular water tower, features the paintings of 20th-century Scottish Colourist John Duncan Fergusson and works by his wife, dancer Margaret Morris. The Black Watch Museum, at the Black Watch regiment’s ancestral home in Balhousie Castle, shows uniforms, medals, weapons and paintings. Nearby is the Perth Museum and Art Gallery.

Stirling Council

Stirling Council has a population of just under 100,000 with the main centre of population in Stirling itself.

At the heart of its old town, medieval Stirling Castle is on a craggy volcanic rock. On the Abbey Craig outcrop, the National Wallace Monument is a 19th-century tower. It overlooks the site of the 1297 Battle of Stirling Bridge, where William Wallace defeated the English. The Battle of Bannockburn Experience has interactive 3D displays on the history of the 1314 conflict.
