On Days 3, 4 and 5 at this year’s 6 Days, the main parking fields are not suitable for campervans or motorhomes of any size.

It is the ground clearance and weight which means that they will not be permitted to park with the cars.

We can confirm that all parking for campervans is at Forres Academy Car Park, Burdsyard Road, Forres,  IV36 1FG with bussing to the event from there.

Directions:

• From the Findhorn Roundabout on the A96 take Victoria Road into Forres driving past Grant Park.
• Take South Street on your left (at the end of Grant Park before Andersons Primary School).
• At the roundabout take the second exit and immediately turn left onto Sanquhar Road and follow Sanquhar Road for 0.3 miles.

Please follow the marshals’ instructions for parking.

For Roseisle you should allow at least 45 minutes to reach the arena from the bus parking and for Culbin, at least 50 minutes to reach the arena.

There will be two or three shuttle buses running throughout each day with the first scheduled to leave the school at around 8:15am which means you should reach the arena by 9:00am.

Although we hope it won’t be needed, start officials will have some flexibility if you have to wait longer than anticipated for a shuttle bus.

Update:  Dogs are permitted in the parking areas, on shuttle buses, and arena provided they are under control, on a lead and cleared up after.

On Day 1 dogs may not be taken down to the forest (ie on walk to start/finish) from the parking area as the landowner has pheasant covers adjacent to the track.
