We are delighted to welcome everyone to Moray for the 24th edition of the Scottish Orienteering 6-Day Events. Little did we think when putting on our first day’s event in 1977 (in Alvie for those with long memories) for approximately 800 people that we would still be putting on our biennial event 46 years later, now with 3000 competitors.

It is great to be able to offer a full programme of events, social as well as orienteering, after the restrictions caused by covid in 2021. The areas have been used before, but not since 2015 for 6-Day events, and we are certain that the planners will have produced courses that will test your navigation skills to the full.

Moray itself has lots of attractions with several castles, distillery tours, plenty of sandy beaches, golf courses and water sports all on offer when you’re not orienteering. So, take time to enjoy the area.

Finally, we would very much like to welcome you back in 2025 to Deeside for our 25th anniversary event where more superb areas will be waiting for you.
